Botox, Dysport & Xeomin
What’s the difference between these three you may ask? While all in the same family of products and used in the same manner, there are some differences between Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin.
The main difference between the three is that Xeomin contains no additives and only has one single ingredient - botulinum toxin A.
Patients who average 20 units of Botox, will also average 20 units of Xeomin but 40 units of Dysport.
Onset times also differ for the three. Xeomin has the slowest onset time of 4 days where Botox onset is typically seen in 72 hours and Dysport onset is 24 hours.
Due to Dysport’s chemical makeup, it is known to spread to a larger area than Xeomin or Botox. This could be a benefit or disadvantage depending on your aesthetic goals and needs.
All three products have a similar longevity of three to six months although individual results may vary from person to person.
Through our partnership with ALCHEME, Botox is $13/unit and Xeomin & Dysport are $11/unit.
