Comprehensive Acne Consultation:
It’s time to understand and treat the root causes of your acne! This is the first step towards healthy, blemish-free skin! Our acne consultation Includes a very detailed intake assessment, sensitivity test and we go over all of our acne clinic guidelines. We examine everything from your current regimen, diet, and lifestyle and assess which treatment is needed to get you clear and glowing skin, and within 3 months (results subject to guest abiding by all guidelines).
We analyze the following factors during your consultation:
Your Skin Type - Everyone's skin is different and it is important to know where your skin falls on the spectrum. Our acne specialists analyze your skin and inform you about what unique skin type you have.
Your Acne Type - Did you know that there are more than 8 types of acne? With our team, you'll leave knowledgeable about which kind of acne you have and how to combat it.
Your Skin Condition - Our Acne Specialists assess your skin condition during your consultation as well as every time you come in for a treatment. If your skin is irritated and dry from product use, then we will adjust your routine for just a few days. Most importantly, we coach you on how to use your products and we are available 24/7 for support!
Lifestyle Choices + Changes - We ask you about your eating habits, workout regimen, how often you drink water (and wine) and what medications you are currently taking. You may not know something seemingly small like what milk you choose to drink could be the root cause of your acne! You'll leave Spa Kingston fully educated on what lifestyle choices to ensure you have flawless skin.
Home Care - We want to know what skincare products you are currently using, what shampoo and conditioner you are using, we even ask about your water conditions! Our team will guide you on your home care routine, what products to use and what supplements to take. You will leave with the tools you need to clear your skin.
2. Specialized Treatment:
After your consultation, your Acne Specialist will choose one of two treatments: Our Acne Peel or Our Acne Enzyme Treatment!
Our painless Acne Peel boosts skin turnover and prevents pores from clogging while also improving skin texture. This treatment includes a thorough cleansing, peel prep, extractions and a personalized peel. This peel will not only reduce breakouts and prevent future breakouts but also reduce scarring.
Our Acne Enzyme Treatment will infuse your skin with vitamins and nutrients, reduce inflammation, while delicately treating your acne. This treatment includes a thorough cleansing, steam, enzyme prep, extractions and an acne enzyme treatment mask. Our enzyme will gently exfoliate the skin while smoothing and encouraging the healing of blemishes.
3. Customized Regimen Selection:
When your treatment is finished, your Acne Specialist will design and write out a customized morning and night regimen of Face Reality products for you.
Your Acne Specialist will give you the strongest home care products that your skin can tolerate. These products are specifically chosen for the type of acne that you have. Products that are too strong will cause your skin to become irritated, dry, and create a vicious cycle of breakouts.
4. Recommended Treatment Plan:
It is important to be consistent to see the results you want! Your Acne Specialist will recommend how often you should be coming in for treatments and what treatments you should schedule. We offer an Acne Treatment Package which includes six Acne Clinic Treatments for you to ideally receive one treatment, twice a month, for three months. We tailor the treatments to benefit your specific skin and acne type in this package!
5. Information Session:
Your Acne Specialist will go over our very detailed Acne Clinic Information Packet with you and email it to you so you know how to use your products, which foods and ingredients to avoid along with other information on how to get your skin to a blemish-free state.
6. Progress Check-Ins:
Your Acne Specialist will be checking in with you every two weeks for an initial three-month time frame to see how your skin is progressing and to see if you have any questions about your products, your treatments or if you have any reactions!
7. Our Long Distance Program:
If you live in a location that is not driving distance, do not fret! You can send us skin pictures to our email address - info@spakingston and we can do an initial email or phone consultation and then recommend a regimen to mail to your address. We also will call or email to check in twice a month as well. We have still seen amazing results with this program even though these guests are not receiving treatments!
